Seven foreign nationals from Cuba are in the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center after being arrested by Murfreesboro Police on criminal simulation and criminal conspiracy charges.

Detective Greg Flanagan reports Luis Camella-Chaman, Erinaldo Montano, Yosniel Ramos, Orosman Heredia, Isequiel Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez and Jorge Guitierrez were arrested at the Super 8 Motel on Chaffin Place in Murfreesboro last Wednesday. They were arrested after being found in possession of re-encoded gift cards and a scanner.

While four of the men reported they were from of Austin, Texas, two from Miami, Florida, and one from Tampa, Florida, the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office reports they're all foreign nationals.

Flanagan reports an investigation into the case is ongoing.
