"Shake and Bake" Meth Lab Found in Parking Lot of Murfreesboro Shopping Center

What has been called a “Shake and Bake” meth lab turned up in the parking lot of a local shopping center on Thursday afternoon in Murfreesboro. MPD Officer Jackson responded to 1208 East Northfield Boulevard at Tennessee Boulevard for a suspicious activity call. Once at the address he found a Gatorade bottle containing a blue crystal like substance. The substance was believed to be methamphetamine. No arrests have been made as it is not known who left the bottle in the shopping center parking lot.
