Sharon Collie Northern at Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) in Murfreesboro is the January "Heart for Healing" recipient. She is the first person you meet when arrive at TOA's Hand Therapy section in the DePaul Building at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Oftentimes the people who see her are in pain and having a difficult time getting around. Several patients said that Sharon Northern helped to calm and relax them before having their occupational therapy session. Many noted that their challenges are often made more bearable thanks to her caring demeanor.
