Rutherford County Sheriff Robert Arnold is answering questions about a business agreement with an electronic cigarette company. Critics claim the company is not only operated by his family, it's a source of income for Rutherford County's sheriff.

While filing his annual financial disclosure form, which is required by the state, the sheriff said he accidentially listed the company JailCigs as one of his income sources. He says it should have been put down as a source of income for his wife, who does work there part time.

Arnold noted that his aunt and uncle are part owners of the company. However, he maintains it was not selected because of family connections. He says they're not in any binding agreement with the company and now they'll be reconsidering whether it's best for the county to do business with the company.
