A Murfreesboro man has been arrested after allegedly trying to return a box of diapers that were previously purchased. A Police Report shows that 25-year old Lionel Butler, Jr. went to Walmart armed with a receipt for diapers. Once in the store, a Loss Prevention Officer told police he grabbed a new box and then took it to customer service to return it.

When police were called, it was confirmed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in court. Butler was charged with shoplifting and served the warrant, which landed him behind bars under a $7,500 bond. He will appear in court this August.
