Shots Fired at America's Best Value Inn on S. Church

Murfreesboro Police are investigating a report of shots fired at the America's Best Value Inn on South Church.

Officer David Kelch reports Sunday around 1am being called to the location after multiple calls to MPD.

During the initial investigation, the officer reports a person staying in room 224 had friends over and those friends invited others she didn't know. As she was walking back up to the room, the woman reported hearing the gunfire herself and two black men fled. They were aquaintenances of her friends, but she didn't know their identity.


Two spent shell casings were recovered from the parking lot.
