Residents of Haynes Manor Apartments on Northfield Blvd. were a bit shaken when an unknown person decided to open fire near the Q building. According to a police incident report filed after the shooting took place, no one was home at the downstairs apartment when the sliding glass door was shot out (Apartment Q229). The incident was reported this past Friday (4/4/14) at around 8:00 in the evening.

One resident told us that two small children live in the apartment directly above the one that had the sliding glass door shot out. A bullet also entered a couch that is inside the apartment. Luckily, no one was injured. No arrests have been made, but the case has been turned over to detectives.
