"Shots Fired" call reported at The Point at Raiders Crossing apartment complex

A shots fired call was reported at The Point at Raiders Crossing apartment complex. The call came in to police shortly after 9:30 on Wednesday night in Murfreesboro.

When officers showed up at the North Tennessee Boulevard address, they found a shell casing in the parking lot and a bullet hole in the outside wall next to apartment 312. The resident of the apartment heard five shots, but said he did not see anything outside.

Police say that a vehicle was also struck in the back tire, which flattened the tire.

No arrests have been made and no suspects have been named.
