MURFREESBORO - The second principal in Siegel High School's 11 year history has resigned. Jason Bridgeman on Saturday sent a tweet saying: "Thanks for an amazing two years. Stay powerful." Bridgeman took over in 2012 after the school's first principal, Ken Nolan, Jr. retired. Bridgeman was principal of Holloway High School before taking the position at Siegel. Before that, he was an assistant at Holloway and was also a teacher at Bradley Academy in the Murfreesboro City School system.

At next door Siegel Middle School, assistant principal Kim Stoecker has been named principal. She takes over for the school's only principal, Tom Delbridge. He was hired last month to fill the Rutherford County School's Central Office position of Attendance Supervisor. Stoecker has been at Siegel Middle since it opened in 2001. The first six years, she was a seventh grade science teacher and volleyball and girls basketball coach. She was named assistant principal in 2007.
