The Siegel Stars have a new football coach. Adam Renshaw has been tapped by principal Larry Creasy to lead the program.

The 46-year old has been an assistant at Cleveland High School in southeast Tennessee since 2012. He was first hired there by former Riverdale assistant and current Brentwood head coach Ron Crawford.

Creasy said "I believe that Coach Renshaw is a great fit for Siegel High and the Siegel community. He comes to us with great references and strong classroom practices."

The principal goes on to say coach "exhibits strong communication skills, the abililty to build relationships and bring the Siegel community together to support our football program."

Renshaw replaces Michael Copley, whose Stars went 8-22 in his three seasons as head coach.
