A silver alert has been cancelled for Bennett A. Hurt, 83, who has dementia. He was found safe in nearby Mt. Juliet.

You may recall, Hurt left his Central Valley Road near Murfreesboro about 11 a.m. Monday.

Hurt left his home driving a truck. At first it was thought that he was possibly headed to Florida where he was born. But, after hours of searching he was found safe in nearby Mt. Juliet.
