Early Thursday (12/7/2017) morning Murfreesboro Police answered a simple assault call on Rutherford Boulevard.

A 23-year old male, who lives there at University Ridge Apartments told Officer Mangus that two 22-year old women, one from Nashville and the other from Smyrna, had a few drinks at an earlier party.

They were in the male's apartment and the Smyrna woman allegedly started pushing the other woman and the male. The police report indicates that both females were posturing to fight.

Police were called. When officers arrived, the Smyrna woman was gone and could not be located.

The policeman discussed the warrants procedures with the two persons being interviewed in the apartment complex.
