A Smyrna nursing home did something special to allow families who have been apart during the COVID-19 pandemic to show their love for one another.

The residents made signs while their loved ones drove by for a "parade" on Thursday (5-7-20) outside the facility on Enon Springs Road. The families filed by in their cars, yelled out well wishes, honked horns and played music. Residents cheered and waved as their loved ones went by.

As the "parade" went on, cars on Enon Springs slowed and joined in on the horn honking and waving. Smyrna Police helped to direct traffic as well. Check out a video from the event at WGNSRadio.com and on our Facebook page.
