Rutherford County and Murfreesboro City Schools will be closed on Wednesday due to snowfall and hazardous road conditions.

County schools made the decision around 11am Tuesday with the city schools decision shortly afterward. City Schools spokeswoman Lisa Trail also adds their extended school program would also close on Tuesday since roads are expected to get worse with single digit temperatures forecast.

Trail adds report cards are being delayed for one week and are expected to be available next Wednesday, Jan 24.
