You may want to think twice about drinking and driving in the City of La Vergne. La Vergne Police will be conducting Sobriety Checkpoints and working Alcohol Saturation Patrols (ASP) throughout the Memorial Day weekend.

The La Vergne Police Department will utilize every available resource this weekend to ensure La Vergne’s streets and highways are safe for citizens and visitors during the first summer holiday weekend.

Sobriety Checkpoints will be conducted during the evening hours on some of La Vergne’s most heavily traveled streets. Officers will also be patrolling during the times they are not working one of the checkpoints.
