Middle Tennessee Christian School will host its 54th Annual Steak Dinner on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 6:30 pm. The speaker is a nationally known popular comedy entertainer whose impressive list of credits includes NBC's The Tonight Show, CBS's The Late, Late Show and NBC's Young Comedians Special.

Born and raised in Tennessee, he was the keynote entertainer for the 59th Radio & Television Correspondents' Dinner attended by the Bush Administration and has worked extensively with Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Willie Nelson, Carrie Underwood, and many others. He is a regular performer at The Grand Ole Opry and has multiple film credits.

"We think this year's speaker will give us a fun, family friendly evening that will appeal to our internal community and to the community at large," said MTCS President Dr. Phil Ellenburg. "It is exciting to present an entertainer of this caliber, one who also shares our faith and values."

Middle Tennessee Christian School is an independent school serving close to 700 students from Rutherford and surrounding counties in pre-school through the twelfth grade. Chartered in 1960, the school opened in the fall of 1962. MTCS is accredited by AdvancED, the Southern Association of Independent Schools, and the National Christian School Association.

The Annual Steak Dinner is the oldest continuing fund-raising event for Middle Tennessee Christian School. The first dinner was sponsored by the original Board of Trustees to raise funds to start the school. The Board of Trustees hosts the dinner annually to support the operations of the school. For complete information about the special guest speaker and to purchase tickets, contact the school office at 893-0601 or visit the website at mtcscougars.org.
