Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center recently raised a total of $143,000 through the local nonprofit's November Double Campaign.
The November Double Campaign is a Special Kids Therapy & Nursing Center fundraising initiative. When investors contributed to Special Kids during the month of November, their donation was doubled up to a total of $70,000 thanks to multiple sponsors. The goal, however, was exceeded and $143,000 was raised!
"We have been so humbled to see how God has worked through our investors to continue the growth of the November Double Campaign. The Double Campaign serves as an opportunity for our investors to work together to grow our organization," states Noel Deal, Special Kids Investor Relations Officer. "The money raised through the campaign will help provide life-changing therapy and nursing services to families who would not otherwise be able to afford them."
Special Kids' top matching sponsor for this initiative was Eddie Davis, owner of Gas World and Davis Construction, who committed $25,000 to the campaign. Mr. Davis has been involved with Special Kids for over seven years and is also a recipient of the Dick Kleinau Lifetime Giving Award, which is given to investors who have contributed more than $100,000 through their lifetime giving. Special Kids' business partner was Stanlick Chiropractic, and several other anonymous investors also contributed.
Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center for children with special needs. The Murfreesboro-based ministry started with one child in 1998 and has grown to serve over 3,100 children from 18 counties in middle Tennessee.
