Special Murfreesboro Police Class to Teach How to Defend Yourself Against RAPE

The Murfreesboro Police Department will be conducting a Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) class for women only this October. The class will teach realistic self-defense tactics and techniques to give women options in the case of an attack. The class focuses on risk awareness, reduction, recognition, and avoidance while also providing physical self-defense techniques designed to empower women to escape abduction or sexual assault attempts.

The classes will be held on four consecutive Monday nights beginning October 7th. The classes are held from 6:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. at the Murfreesboro Police Department. Class space is limited, so sign up by calling the Murfreesboro Police Department today.
