The St. Clair Street Senior Center is cutting their budget, as advised by the City of Murfreesboro. Senior center Director Connie Rigsby said they have to cut $124,000...

Some of the other cuts include the elimination of their mailed newsletter to seniors. However, it will be available online. They will also cut the free coffee time, which was all day and is now from 8AM to 1PM. Transportation fees will also increase this year for senior outings.

But the good news... There will not be a membership fee for the senior center.
