Rutherford County state legislative leaders will join members of both the Murfreesboro City and Rutherford County School Boards for a joint meeting this week. It will be hosted by the city at their central office on South Church Street Thursday at 6 p.m. It will be a chance for the local school board leaders to talk with state representatives and senators before the session begins in January about education issues. While the meeting is open to the public, there will not be a public comment session.
