Monday, State Representative Mike Sparks (R-Smyrna) hosted Tennessee Republican Gubernatorial candidate Bill Lee and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Marsha Blackburn for a campaign event in District 49.
The event was held in Smyrna and was an opportunity for Representative Sparks to do some last minute campaigning with two of the state's highest profile candidates who are also concluding their respective campaigns for Tennessee Governor and U.S. Senate.
"It was an incredible honor to have Bill Lee and Congressman Blackburn visit our community on the day before the election," said Representative Sparks. "I was excited to have them come to my district, and to hear them speak about the tremendous progress our state and our country have made under conservative leadership. I encourage our citizens to stand with them and back both at the polls, and I humbly ask my constituents for their prayers, continued support, and their vote this Election Day."
