An unnamed resident of Murfreesboro who lives on State Street told WGNS that gangs are a big problem in her neighborhood. She said that people hang out in the streets at all hours of the night and morning.
Murfreesboro Police Chief Glen Chrisman told us that more police are on the beat to curb the crime in the area of State Street.
The resident told us that State Street is out of control and she feels unsafe on her front porch. She also suggested that drugs are a major problem in that area.
