It was a day full of the widest emotions for Rutherford County's representatives in the Blue Cross Basketball Championships.

Stewarts Creek led most of the game, but a tying three to end regulation and one to send it into a second overtime finally propelled Dickson County to a 67-64 win.

For the second year in a row, Riverdale opened state tournament play against Morristown West. The results were the same, with a dominating 75-46 win over the Lady Trojans.

Riverdale will play in the state's final four on Friday at 11:30. Bryan Barrett and Jon Dinkins will have the game, with coverage beginning just after 11 on NewsRadio WGNS.
