A front rumbled through Murfreesboro around lunchtime Thursday (5/12/2016). It downed trees and brought hail to the area around Manchester Highway and Buchanan Elementary School.

The Rutherford County Sheriffs Office is supervising traffic control and security in the impacted area.

Winds also hit the area around John Bragg Highway and Mt. Tabor Road taking many trees.

Thankfully, there were no reports of injuries.
