A woman eating at the Chaffin Place Cracker Barrel was the victim of theft. The female who was with her husband, was sitting at her table when she felt a bump to the back of her chair. It is believed that when she felt the so called "bump," the person sitting behind her took her wallet out of her purse that was slung over the rear of her chair.

The victim did not notice the theft until she reached inside her purse to retrieve her wallet later that evening. Staff at the local eatery said the subjects who reached into the victims purse walked in and seated themselves behind the victim without silverware or menus. Video surveillance in the store shows the duo leave 8-minutes after entering the business. The two left on foot in the direction of the various hotels on Chaffin Place.
