Suspect accused of killing 13-year old Clifton Braunwalder in fatal hit and run due in court

WGNS has just confirmed that the woman accused of running into a vehicle parked on the side of I-24 killing a 13-year old child who was changing a tire for his mother will be in court on Monday.

13-year old Clifton Braunwalder died in the hit and run incident and his mother Sondra was taken to the hospital for medical treatment, but later released. Clifton's sister witnessed the accident happen this past April. She was not seriously injured.

After the wreck, suspect Tina Wilson (pic. right) allegedly fled the scene. She was later arrested on vehicular homicide charges. We have confirmed that Wilson will be arraigned in Circuit Court this Monday on charges of "Vehicular Homicide by Intoxication, Vehicular Homicide by Recklessness, Reckless Aggravated Assault and Leaving the Scene of a Fatal Crash."

Wilson will also face possession of marijuana charges and possession of drug paraphernalia charges when she appears this Monday morning (8/18/14) at 9.
