In fact, Laura Lee Agnor was charged with “Driving on a Revoked License” for the 9th time on Thursday after wrecking in front of a police officer.
A witness told WGNS...
“I saw a truck fleeing from Murfreesboro Police that drove down Middle Tennessee Boulevard. The truck was speeding while changing lanes with a police officer driving closely behind him. The police car had its siren activated. The truck made a sharp turn onto Diana Street and ran into a ditch. The officer behind the truck quickly got out of his patrol car and drew his weapon.”
Officer Gibbs reported they had to take Agnor to the ground after she got out of her truck and allegedly tried to run from the accident scene. Police found a spoon in the truck with what appeared to be cocaine residue on it along with a crack pipe, according to an arrest report.
Agnor was charged with not only “Driving on a Revoked License” for a 9th time, but also charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving and simple possesion of a schedule four drug.
Murfreesboro Police Sgt. Kyle Evans stated via an email...
“An officer attempted to stop a vehicle near Diana St. and the driver did not stop. The officer did not pursue the vehicle. The vehicle crashed on a nearby street. No one was injured and the driver is under arrest.”
Evans told us a supervisor will review the in car video of the incident to determine if policy was followed.
As of Friday morning, Agnor was still behind bars.
