Murfreesboro Police are looking for a man who drove away from a traffic stop in a silver Dodge AXT. According to police reports, Officer Rodriguez made a stop on Medical Center Parkway just before 2:30 Saturday morning for a lane violation. He made contact with a man, claiming to be Tobias Austin. He gave his drivers license to the officer, who noticed Xanax in his hand. When the officer advised the suspect to put down the Xanax, he fled in the vehicle, turning around on Medical Center Parkway. The officer reports he disregarded the traffic light at the intersection with Northwest Broad and continued on toward Fortress Boulevard. The suspect is described as a black male, in his mid-to-late 20's with long dread locks.
