20-Year old Dumarcus L. Voorhies (pictured) will be in court on Friday (8/14/15) in Murfreesboro to face an "Attempted First Degree Murder" charge. The South University Street resident was arrested earlier this year.

Police linked the man to an attempted murder case after he was pulled over earlier this year while driving a 2014 Hyundai that was involved in a shooting that was reported this past March (2015). Voorhies claimed ownership of the car during the stop, according to an arrest report filed by the Murfreesboro Police Department. As a result, the car was seized along with his phones.
