The stolen beer was returned to the store after police found the suspect and confiscated the Bud Light.

Apparently, the suspect went to a gas station on Memorial Blvd where he is accused of stealing two 12 packs of Bud Light. When the man left the store, he evidently went to a friend's trailer.

The woman who drove the man to the store told officers that she did not know he stole the brewski, but thought he paid for it. She did not go in the store with the suspect.

Little did the subject know that workers in the store were able to write down the tag number on the car he was in. It took police only a minute to run the tag and then drive to the Wenlon Drive address.

Once at the trailer, the woman who answered the door told officers which trailer she took the man to after the quick beer run. When police went to the trailer in question, they found the suspect and the stolen beer. The man was written a citation for theft and the stolen beer was promptly returned to the store.
