Around 6 in the morning on Sunday, a taxi cab driver was robbed at gunpoint in Murfreesboro. The incident occurred on Greenland Drive.

The victim told police she was sitting in her cab in a parking lot when a man opened her side door and pointed a gun in her face. He then asked her how much money she made the night before. The cab driver told the subject that she did not work the night before and she just got on to duty. The unknown subject then demanded whatever money she had.

According to the report, the victim gave the man $15 that she had along with her purse. The armed bandit then demanded the woman get out of the taxi and lay down on the ground. After obeying the armed man's request, the subject fled the scene on foot. So far, he has not been caught.
