The teenager arrested in LaVergne for allegedly setting off an explosive device this past February will file a plea in a Rutherford County Courtroom on July 23, 2014.
18-year old Jonathan Wooten was arrested after he allegedly set off an explosive device in the Lake Forest Subdivision. He is currently free on bond.
Evidently the teen set off the explosive device after learning how to make it on YouTube. A second device was detonated by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Tennessee Highway Patrol. No one was injured in the explosion.
Wooten will face a single charge of “Possession of Explosive Components.”
