Tennessee Republican Party Chairman Scott Golden released the following statement on the results of the special primary election for Senate District 14:

"I would like to congratulate Shane Reeves as he becomes the Republican nominee for State Senate in District 14. We look forward to working with Shane over the next few weeks spreading the message of the Tennessee success story. Voters understand that Republican policies are driving the results of record low taxes and unemployment, as well as nation-leading economic growth. That record contrasts sharply with the record of obstruction Democrats have shown since President Trump's election. Tennesseans want to see results, not road blocks, and that is exactly what Shane Reeves will deliver as the next State Senator for District 14."
