(MURFREESBORO) On Monday night (1/18/2019) Greenhouse Ministries celebrated a milestone. Supporters gathered at Murfreesboro First Presbyterian Church to share memories, love and wonderful stories--and especially to thank Cliff and Jane Sharp.

NewsRadio WGNS asked Co-Founder Cliff Sharp if it feels different coming into the office after twenty-years . . .

The Sharps gave birth to Greenhouse Ministries in the fertile soil at the Franklin Heights Housing Projects on Bridge Avenue. This area had developed a reputation in the past as being dangerous as well drug and sex infested.

A former Franklin Heights resident said, "Between the guidance and love of the Sharps and the Murfreesboro police officers who were stationed at a prescinct there--we learned what community pride was all about."

An officer who served Franklin Heights overheard the conversation and chimmed in, "It became one of the city's safest communities too."

Jane Sharp, the other co-founder, was asked if their work looks different, now that twenty years have passed . . .
