A theft at Kay Jewelers in Murfreesboro was caught on camera. The incident occurred on December 9, 2016 at the Medical Center Parkway address.

A saleswoman at the store told police that a black male wearing white glasses and a yellow hat entered the retailer suggesting he wanted to buy his wife a necklace. The customer said that he did not want to spend more than $5,000.

When the store employee placed a necklace with a matching ring and bracelet on the counter, the man grabbed the jewelry and ran. The subject got into a black colored car and fled the scene. The jewelry was valued at over $5,500.

While the man has not been caught, the entire incident was caught on video. Authorities are investigating the case.
