Three thirteen year old boys were detained and later questioned by police after allegedly vandalizing a backhoe in the Cason Lane area.

Apparently, the piece of heavy equipment was parked on Alysheba Run in Murfreesboro and the three teens allegedly broke out the windows on the backhoe. They told police they thought the backhoe was abandoned, but it was not.

The owner of the backhoe was contacted by police as well as the parents of the three teenagers. All three teens live in the same neighborhood, near the site of where the backhoe was parked.
