Three women busted for shoplifting in Murfreesboro

Three women who allegedly went shoplifting together have been arrested after reportedly stealing over 60 clothing items from the Old Navy store in the Avenue on Medical Center Parkway.

Evidently, a store employee recognized the trio when they entered the store on Tuesday. A call to Murfreesboro Police ended with the women getting arrested after they walked out of the store without paying for the merchandise.

A police report shows that the women exited the store with additional bulges under their clothing and their purses stuffed with merchandise.

Each of the three women from Nashville were charged with theft over $500. Arrested were 23 year old Tiarra L. Ayers, 33 year old Natasha M. McHaney and 33 year old Shameka D. Mayberry. The women were placed under a $6,000 bond and are due in court on February 4, 2016.

MPD Vice Officers and Detectives are now looking in to other possible shoplifting cases that the three women may be tied to.
