(MURFREESBORO) Under a program called Purple Heart Homes, local roofer Tim Leeper is providing a roof for the home of local veteran James Voss.

Voss will receive a new roof on Wednesday, October 17, from Tim Leeper Roofing, an Owens Corning Roofing Platinum Contractor, as part of the Owens Corning National Roof Deployment Project. This nationwide effort is a way to show gratitude and honor the veterans who served our country and the families who support them.

Leeper said, "Our goal is always to treat our customers like family. We consider James part of the family now and are truly honored to be able to give back to a local hero in our community in the best way we know how."
