Toot's WEST "Theme Restaurant" Opens This Friday

Jun 30, 2019 at 03:05 pm by Bryan Barrett

(MURFREESBORO) An exciting new chapter in Toot's Good Food and Fun restaurants opens this coming Friday (7/5/2019) with the firm's first "theme facility". Toot's WEST on the corner of Franklin Road (highway 96) and Rucker Lane welcomes the public on the day after Independence Day.

In fact, the new Toot's WEST is Rutherford County's first theme restaurant. Hays explained . . .

This was such an elaborate project, it took two-years to design and then make it a reality. It gives the feel of walking into a gold mine town from the 1850s, plus there's a direct connection to a hometown hero . . .

Beaming like a proud new father, Hays noted, "It's well worth the wait, there's nothing else like it in Rutherford County."

As you walk in the front door, you see a building with the trader's post on the first floor and the Rucker Hotel on the second floor with a balcony around it . . .

Hays explained that craftsmen are still creating additional displays. Plus, Toot's West is a blend of old and new . . .

He pointed out that Toot's Good Food and Fun is a truly locally owned, family run business . . .

In conclusion, Hays excitedly said there was one item on the Toot's West menu that is not found at any other location. . .

The "Old 96er" ties to John Candy's flick "The Great Outdoors" where the comediene orders a 96-ounce steak and tries to eat all of it.

All Toot's Good Food and Fun locations are open 11:00AM to midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 11:00AM to 11:00PM Sunday through Thursday. The original Toot's is on Northwest Broad at Medical Center Parkway, 2992 South Church Street, and in Smyrna at 301 Sam Ridley Parkway West.

Again, Toot's West opens this coming Friday, the day after the 4th of July. It is located at 4123 Franklin Road (corner of Highway 96 and Rucker Lane).
