Two men and a woman are accused of shoplifting from several Walmart stores in Murfreesboro, Smyrna, Tullahoma, Manchester and Shelbyville. Murfreesboro officers made contact with 39-year old David Sands on Reid Avenue after he was suspected of stealing a computer from the Walmart on Old Fort Parkway. After questioning Sands, it was realized that he may have had two partners in the reported theft and links to other thefts. The female suspect is named Shannon Bragg and the second male culprit is named James Pelham.

During a brief on site interview, 43-year old James Pelham allegedly told police that he transports 33-year old Shannon Bragg from Walmart to Walmart and that (quote), “Ms. Bragg comes out with a receipt and sometimes she doesn't.” David Sands stated, “Ms. Bragg is the one to go to if you need anything.” Inside the SUV that Murfreesboro authorities pulled over, they found a Dell Computer and an HP Computer. Pelham told officers, “Shannon Bragg picked out the computers, left the store and he went in and attempted to remove them from Walmart.” Sands later commented that the computers in the SUV were from the Walmart store in Smyrna.  Sands further stated, “Shannon Bragg was paying him $150 per store / trip.”
