Tennessee Army National Guard Soldiers from the 1176th Transportation Company, based in Smyrna, TN are scheduled to depart on Sunday morning (Mar. 16), for a yearlong deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Selected members of the 1176th unit Smyrna, Tullahoma, Memphis, Brownsville and Dyersburg will gather at the Smyrna airport Sunday and depart at approximately 10am. Family members and friends will have an official sendoff around 7am.
