Truck Knocks Homeowner Out of Bed Thursday AM

(MURFREESBORO) Can you imagine the shock of ending up on the floor Thursday (12/20/2018) morning after your bed was moved by the impact of a pickup truck that slammed into the front of your home.

That's exactly what happened to Elizabeth Clemons when a driver rammed her South Rutherford Boulevard home.

Oddly enough, this is not as unusual as it sounds. Construction crews that repair this type of home and business damage indicate one or two similar occurances happen each year in Murfreesboro.

They note that most times the motorist accidentally hits the gas instead of the brakes.

Police have not released what caused the Thursday morning Dodge pickup vs home incident, but NewsRadio WGNS will keep you informed.
