VERBATIM: "They got to be with the whole family Saturday and they said that Jackie lit up - probably the best day she's had in a year or two. Monday, they had lunch at Peter D's Restaurant out on the veranda and she looked across and caressed the back of his head and called him Butch."

Jackie had been battling Alzheimer's Disease for the past several years.

Station Manager Bryan Barrett says hearts are heavy for the Jones family...

VERBATIM: "If you saw Truman, you saw Jackie. It's a wonderful testament to the love they shared. While we give each other a hard time on the air, Truman's been a rock solid member of the Good Neighbor Station and we'll be here to support him and the family."

Not only is Jackie survived by her husband, but also two sons Jason and Barry along with three grandchildren. She was a retired operations manager with Murfreesboro Electric.

Funeral services are in the care of Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be from 3-7pm Friday with services at 2:30 Saturday afternoon. Burial will be afterward at Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorials in memory of Jackie Jones can be made to the Pat Summitt Foundation.

Please keep the family in your prayers.
