Kathy Tyson, Spokesperson for the City of LaVergne has confirmed that an active investigation is underway for a subject accused of shooting a victim Tuesday night. One person was transported to StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, but their name and condition have not been released, according to Tyson. The shooting happened at about 8:00, Tuesday night on Waxman Drive.
