Two armed robberies were reported in Murfreesboro early Tuesday morning. Both robberies occurred in the parking lot of an apartment complex called The Point at Raiders Crossing on North Tennessee Boulevard.

The first victim told police he was walking into the breezeway headed to his apartment when he was pushed to the ground. A black male armed with a gun pushed the victim to the ground and removed from the victims pockets his car keys, iPhone and $20-dollars. The robber then told the victim to go into his apartment. That was when the victim called the police and the armed man fled.

While on the scene of the first robbery, police quickly learned of a second attack at the same complex.

In the second incident, the victim was told to lay down on the ground. The armed man then proceeded to remove the victims $30 wrist watch, and iPhone. The victim in the second robbery told the unknown man that he did not have any money, but could take him to an ATM machine. By that time sirens were heard in the background responding to the first victim. When the man heard the sirens, he hit the victim over the head with the handgun and ran.

The case has been turned over to detectives, but an arrest has not been made.
