Two Coffee County Football Players Busted on Marijuana Charges

The two teenagers were arrested over the past two weeks on drug related charges and both play for Central High School in Coffee County. Both of the teens are accused of being involved in a large scale marijuana operation.  One adult has also been arrested by the name of 46 year-old C.L. Brown.

The two boys appeared in juvenile court on Wednesday and were arraigned. Attorneys have been appointed to represent them. The teenagers were released to the custody of their parents/guardians. They are to return to juvenile court on October 9, 2013 for a hearing.

C.L. Brown appeared in court Tuesday and an attorney was appointed to represent him according to court officials, Brown is also scheduled to make an appearance in Arizona on September 9 for drug charges in that state.

So far, ten pounds of marijuana has been confiscated.
