A disagreement between two neighbors led to one shooting the other. After Ricky Gordon and Tyler Simmons reportedly got into an argument with one another at a home on January Street, Gordon evidently retrieved a gun and opened fire on Simmons, according to a police report. The incident happened late Friday night and Gordon turned himself in on Saturday.

20-Year old Gordon was booked under a charge of attempted first degree murder and later released on Sunday after posting the $25,000 bond. The local fast food worker will appear in court on December 3, 2013. As for the victim, he took himself to the hospital with the help of friends. His injuries were not life threatening.
