The Murfreesboro Police Department says they need the public’s help in identifying two men accused of using counterfeit money. Sgt. Kyle Evans released a picture of the culprits that was captured on the video surveillance camera of a tobacco store on Northfield Boulevard.

The two men apparently went into Marco’s Pizza and asked for change for a $100 bill. The men told the employee they had just left the tobacco store next door and that the clerk there did not have change for a 100. The employee at the pizza shop gave the men change for the 100 and the two men left the store. The pizzeria did not realize the bill was a fake until they took it to the bank for deposit.
