A Wenlon Drive man, who was wanted on a parole violation, was arrested along with two others with him. Murfreesboro Police Officer Reginal Primas reports locating Quintorieous Benford in Rogers Park Friday afternoon around 4:30.

The officer reports Benford, age 21, pulled a white substance, later identified as cocaine, from his right pocket and gave it to a juvenile. Both denied ownership of the drugs.

After refusing a vehicle search, a K-9 officer hit on the vehicle which gave them probable cause. Inside the vehicle a folded dollar bill with cocaine was found on the floor board of the passenger's side.

The third person at the scene was Chad McCarver, age 21, of Ithaca Street, who had an active warrant for his arrest. He was also identified as the driver of the vehicle.

While the under-aged male was taken to the juvenile detention center, both Benford and McCarver were taken to the adult detention center.

Benford and McCarver face charges of possession of a schedule two drug and violation of parole. Benford also faces an additional charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Both will be in court on November 8th.
