Shoplifting and running is not a fashionable form of exercise, but seems to be happening more and more at stores throughout Rutherford County.

Murfreesboro Police were called to The Buckle in The Avenue on Medical Center Parkway Wednesday after two females entered the store and grabbed one to three pairs of jeans and then fled the store on foot. The two are also believed to be responsible for a similar theft at a store called Forever 21 in the same shopping center.

At Forever 21 the women filled large bags with clothing items valued at over $500 and then took off on foot running towards a parked Mercedes.

The duo left the shopping center in a black 2009 Mercedes Benz C30 that was registered to a man in Madison, Tennessee.
